Conversation patterns
Modeling does not finish in one sentence. There is a short back-and-forth: the AI asks, it offers candidates, you pick. Here are the six exchanges that come up most.
1. Answering a question back
Section titled “1. Answering a question back”When the AI asks for something you left out, answer just that. You do not need to rewrite your first sentence.
bracket_v2.2. Picking numbers
Section titled “2. Picking numbers”Sketch fixes, print orientation and reinforcement all come back as a numbered list, and the AI stops there. Even the recommended one is not applied automatically.
1 and 3.“Go with your recommendation” works too. But for a candidate that adds a new dimension — freezing the current value — check first that it is really the design dimension.
3. Getting assumptions as a table
Section titled “3. Getting assumptions as a table”When the AI has decided a value the drawing does not give, ask for it as a table and confirm. This matters most on the bigger exercises like the observation frame.
Before you build it, show me a table of the values you assumed because they weren't on the drawing. I'll confirm and then we go.
